Brilliance & Gloom

This my 7th day into making games.  Using Game Maker 2  has been fun leading into the Game Jam .. i will be restarting this idea and attempting to make a full game that is playable.  I will return for the next Jam.

The idea for the game is taking the 2d scroller and giving each level sections of Light and Shadow.  As you walk through the Light part ( as a Knight) of the level you will fight Shadow creatures ( Ghost, Ghouls, etc. ). When you pass into the Shadow your player turns into a Skeleton and will fight Shadow Knights.  Almost like i was trying to use 2 themes to make this ( Opposites + Light & Shadow ).
